I have a B.S. degree in biology, a bizarre work history (includes freelance writing, marketing, retail, and a stint at a law firm) and am currently working on my MS in Environmental Science and Policy. In summer 2018, I will be conducting surveys on basking shark tourism in Ireland (it’s not really a thing… yet).
In the meantime, I talk and write about issues related to the environment, policy, sustainability, and anything else that sparks my interest*. I blog more frequently for other websites, such as PEREC.gmu.edu. While you’re there (I know you clicked), be sure to check out all the awesome research people way cooler people then me do! Especially this study, because I am the one who does the plankton counts. I am also the secretary of the Conservation Marketing Working Group.
If you are interested in pharmaceutical pollution in freshwater, watch my directorial debut, filmed in the summer of 2017. Since then, I’ve vastly improved my audio visual editing skills, so be sure to check out the “videos” category to see my latest work.
